  《Casablanca》这部电影是在1943年获得奥斯卡奖的，时日久远，人们只是传说着其中的悲伤爱情故事，并一再指出该片公映后美军攻克卡萨布兰卡市的巧合。
  “我猜想在《卡萨布兰卡》中有很多破碎的心。你知道我永远也不可能置身其中所以我不知道。”又过了大约三十年，《卡萨布兰卡》变成了另一部爱情电影中的道具——有人在看这老电影的时候，坠入爱河了。当然，分手是难免的。所以博蒂.海金斯在新电影的主题歌中这样唱：“但是，当我望着你离去的时候，伤害是那样的深！”
  这首歌的疼心之处，全然在于博蒂.海金斯的“味道”。他善于做作、夸张、煸情，深具成熟男人的戏剧化功力，这歌声忧伤但不失尊贵，深情但不忘记风度，到处都藏着气声和假声，以便为伤心装饰上绚丽的色彩，把个人的故事装点成戏剧人生中一幕经典，这样的人物，本色就是五彩而耀眼的，虽然在伤心之处，顾不上欢歌热舞，但优雅的美感却绝不能丢。于是《卡萨布兰卡》泪水盈盈的歌声是那么老派，一字字一句句衬托着今人的轻狂，仅仅“Oh a kiss is still a kiss in CASABLANCA "（哦，在《卡萨布兰卡》中吻还是吻）这一句，就有多少圆熟的婉转？如果要随之起舞，就只有绅士淑女的国标，旋转、迂回、顾盼、微笑，而绝无可能放弃了气氛满地蹦迪。
  至于这歌词、这电影、这电影中的电影，也都已经消失在博蒂.海金斯的歌声之中。缠绵绯恻的情诗谁不会写？传奇电影哪天不在上映？一个人的声音却如此偶然地进入一首歌，又进入了时光的纪念册中，再也不会消逝，也不与别人重复。我们不得不承认，写一首歌是容易的，但找一个人来唱却太难，如果不是博蒂.海金斯饱阅人生，培养了风度和节制的习惯，这首歌又怎么能变得如此完美？它不只是情歌，它还满溢了人生风雨，在每一处婉转的装饰上，都留下了意味深长的感慨，这些感慨只能来自演唱者的个人魅力，而魅力，是岁月在一颗仍旧敏感的心中留下的香气，是历久弥新的感动。
  　　也有人说《卡萨布兰卡》不适合中国人唱，理由是我们的同胞嗓子不好、气质不好什么的，这听起来很有些卖国贼的口吻。它的确不适合我们唱，但我想，那是因为生活的差异，使我们不熟悉另外的一种品位、一套手势、交流的眼神、评判人的标准、另一种语言背后的感觉和表达事物的方式……也正因为这个，我们听《卡萨布兰卡》就又多听到了一分距离产生的美，在我们的男人都不这样诉说的时候，另一个男人就成了梦中人。——颜峻
