Ott is a record producer who has worked with many famous artists including Sinéad O'Connor, The Orb, James and Brian Eno. He currently works with Simon Posford editing Shpongle and Hallucinogen albums. In 2003 he released his own original album, "Blumenkraft", on Twisted Records as well as "Hallucinogen in Dub" in 2002, an album containing dub-remixes of Hallucinogen's tracks. In the year 2008 he released the new Ott album called "Skylon". Blumenkraft is as well as "Hallucinogen in Dub" a psychedelic dub-journey through Ott's talented and unique sets of styles. You won't find many other producers out there that can so professionaly combine the dub-roots of reggae with the mystical tales of the psychedelic scene.
Having perhaps taken his name from famous entheogen botanist and writer, Jonathan Ott, or more accurately simply by shortening his real name, Ott is one of the foremost psychedelic musicians, who spends much of his time in his house, living mostly as a hermit.
Ott's new album, is scheduled to be released on Monday 17 December 2007 at Twisted Records.
